New Music Society
Established in 2013, the New Music Society supports the performance of new orchestral works and celebrates the composers shaping the future of classical music. Through the generosity of its members, the Adrian Symphony Orchestra continues to present music that inspires, challenges, and expands the orchestral repertoire.
Every great masterpiece began as a new work. The New Music Society helps ensure that tradition and innovation continue to thrive together, bringing fresh musical voices to our audiences for generations to come.
Membership is $50 for individuals or $100 for couples. It includes an invitation to a special Open Rehearsal and conversation with a featured composer, along with recognition on the day of the performance.
Join the New Music Society and help bring new music to the Adrian Symphony Orchestra stage.
Since its founding, the New Music Society has helped present works by many of today's composers, including George S. Clinton, Michael Daugherty, Connie Ellisor, Wojciech Kilar, Russell Peck, Christopher Theofanidis, Michael Torke, Dai Wei, Gala Flagello, and Jennifer Higdon.
